Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SQL Protocol website, game, and services (collectively, the "Service"), owned and operated by Itai Zeilig ("Owner", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Users under the age of 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent before using the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained such consent.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modified Terms.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

The Service includes educational SQL training through various game modes: Story Mode (narrative-driven missions), Interview Mode (technical interview preparation), and PVP Mode (competitive multiplayer battles).

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, adapt, reverse engineer, or decompile any part of the Service
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its systems
• Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage in gameplay
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person

Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account using Google OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

Freemium Model: The Service operates on a freemium model. Basic features are available free of charge. Premium features, content, and capabilities require payment to unlock.

Payments: All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any premium features at any time.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, code, text, displays, graphics, photographs, video, audio, design, presentation, selection, and arrangement) are owned by the Owner and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any materials from the Service without prior written consent from the Owner, except for:

• Temporary storage in RAM incidental to accessing the Service
• Files automatically cached by your web browser
• Sharing screenshots for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution

You may provide content to the Service, including but not limited to usernames, profile information, and gameplay data ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with the Service.

User Content must NOT:

• Contain illegal, defamatory, obscene, or offensive material
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Contain hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
• Include personal information of others without consent

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms and to terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

All data, scenarios, names, locations, and events within the Service are entirely fictional and created for educational and entertainment purposes only.

Any resemblance to actual persons (living or deceased), organizations, places, or events is purely coincidental. The Service is a training simulation and does not represent any real government agency, law enforcement body, or intelligence organization.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for any delays, delivery failures, or other damage resulting from limitations beyond our reasonable control.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Israel.
